Geographical Lore > Geographical Lore, Scenes from the Quarry

This series of photographic works transforms memory, representation, and time into multidimensional forms, challenging traditional photography. I create new landscapes by combining printing techniques, object-making, and photography, blending the organic with the fabricated. Geographical Lore documents geological elements across the western U.S., merging them with handmade studio environments to explore the relationship between nature and human influence. Through a mix of analog and digital processes, the work blurs the line between reality and construction, encouraging reflection on environmental change and the fragility of the natural world.
